he penultimate stage of the Camino Inglés is 12 km long, setting off from the town of Poulo in the municipality of Ordes and finishing in Sigüeiro, a town in the municipality of Oroso.
Camino Inglés through hostels
We leave the parish of Poulo and reach the parish of Pereira, where we pass near places such as O Carballo, A Casanova and Ponte Pereira, before leaving the municipality of Ordes through the village of Os Carrás. This whole area is full of springs and small rivers so pilgrims should take this into account if they do the Camino Inglés during the rainy months because the land that is not asphalted can be very muddy or waterlogged.
We then enter the municipality of Oroso via Baxoia along a slightly winding route until we reach Sigüeiro through the area of its industrial estate. Here in Sigüeiro we can enjoy the views from the bridge over the river Tambre, which will show us the Camino to our final destination in Santiago de Compostela.
