On 31st May, the town of Miño will host a new edition of “Primavera no Camiño Inglés”, an event celebrating the culture, gastronomy, and heritage of this growing Jacobean route.
This coming Saturday 31st May, Parque da Rúa in Miño will once again be the setting for Primavera no Camiño Inglés, a festive day that highlights the tourist appeal of the English Way and the rich cultural identity of the towns and villages along its path.
Organised by the Association of Municipalities of the English Way, with the support of the Provincial Council of A Coruña and the Municipality of Miño, the event has become a key springtime celebration on the Camino de Santiago in Galicia.
A day of celebration for all ages
Although the full programme will be published shortly, the 2025 edition promises to maintain the lively and welcoming spirit of previous years, with activities designed for all audiences: from live music and artisan workshops to children’s activities and an enticing selection of local food and produce.
As well as offering a meeting point for locals and pilgrims, Primavera no Camiño Inglés is the perfect opportunity to explore the charm of Miño, a coastal town on the English Way known for its natural surroundings, beaches, and heritage sites.
An invitation to discover the English Way
As cultural tourism continues to grow, so does the interest in the Camino de Santiago. This initiative aims to shine a light on one of the quieter and less-travelled routes — the English Way — which offers exceptional historical and scenic value. Starting from Ferrol or A Coruña, it is ideal for those seeking a more authentic and peaceful pilgrimage.
The organisers invite everyone to stay tuned to the official website www.caminoingles.gal, where the full programme of activities will be available in the coming days..
See you in Miño!
Whether you're planning to walk the Camino this year or just looking for a unique day out surrounded by nature, culture, and good vibes, mark your calendar: Saturday 31st May, from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm at Parque da Rúa, Miño.
