To start the Camino Inglés we have two options. In addition to Ferrol, there is the option of doing the Camino from A Coruña, with six stages making up the first climb and four separating A Coruña from Santiago - since the last two stages are the same for both itineraries.

The two alternatives converge in As Travesas, which belongs to the municipality of Carral en route to Compostela.

How to get to A Coruña

Ferrol is a city located in the north of the province of A Coruña, with a population of 66,065 inhabitants (INE 2019). It is the third most populated municipality in the province of A Coruña and is a city with an important maritime and military history.
