Miño is made up of eight parishes: Bemantes, Callobre, Carantoña, Leiro, Castro, Miño, Perbes and Vilanova.

Located in the estuary of Betanzos, the municipality of Miño has beautiful natural places such as the coastline that forms the Playa Grande and the wide marsh located at the mouth of the river Baxoi.

On this coast, there is an interesting example of the forted settlement culture: the Loios Castro. From the Middle Ages, there are two bridges over the Lambre and Vixoi rivers, built by Fernán Pérez de Andrade in the 14th century. They are two of the seven famous bridges that facilitated the transit through their domains. At the mouth of the river Lambre, we have the bridge rebuilt in 1862 by Queen Isabel II. It has three ashlar arches. On the first arch, we find the boar's head, symbol of the Andrade family. There is a beautiful legend about the river and the wild boar that speaks of an impossible love and of exploits as proof of that love.
