n Abegondo, we commence a new stage that will end in Bruma. We will also have to face some considerable slopes although with a lower mileage than our previous section. Leaving the parish of Presedo and the area of A Agra, we will arrive in Leiro where we can see the Church of Santa Eulalia, and after passing through a dirt road we will follow the route bordering the river Mero. From here you will start an ascent from the San Paio chapel until you reach A Malata, one of the most demanding and challenging sections of the entire Camino Inglés.

The areas we will pass through will be O Vieiro, then O Monte until we reach the Stone Cross of Vizoño where we will take a break. Then, we will continue to A Malata where we will reach the highest point of the entire Camino Inglés at almost 500 meters above sea-level.

A little further on, in As Travesas, (Carral), the routes that arrive from A Coruña and Ferrol will join, to continue for two kilometers and enter Bruma, which belongs to the Mesía municipality. There we finish the stage and rest in the Bruma hostel, located next to where the old Pilgrim Hospital was.
